Why I’m Running

I am Sara Tindall Ghazal, and I am running for Georgia State House District 45. I am running because Georgia needs new leadership for the future of our state, and the future of our children. We need leaders who will work for us, not corporate interests.

I am running because Georgians deserve better.

Georgians deserve better elections, where every eligible voter can access the ballot box, and a guarantee that their votes will be counted.

Georgians deserve better health care, especially for mothers and babies.

Georgians deserve better K-12 education, where we rank below almost two-thirds of the country and are leaving our youth without the full ability to compete in tomorrow’s economy.

Georgians deserve better policy when it comes to common sense gun safety. Our children should not have to go to school with bulletproof backpacks or be forced to train for active shooters.

Georgians deserve better representatives—who are not beholden to corporate interests, who are invested in the community, and who will listen to constituents.

Georgians deserve better—and I am the candidate who can deliver it.
